For the permanent space I looked at various websites and images to find ideas and inspiration that would help me fill the criteria.
I believe that a space that fits her personality and nature would be best suited for this permanent space because it would consist of her comfort space, her working space, and space for her workshops too enough to accomidate 10 people.
Storage I think would play a big part in this space due to the massive collection of books and memorabilia. So from this I thought it would be a good idea to intergrate storage space with the living area's and work shops.

Petruding walls and rooms creates more room for these books and also gives a very distinct and different spacial design.
work does not always revolve around book shelving and casework, this is a common theme in their pieces – from elaborate wooden wall bookcases for homes, offices and libraries to entire staggered-shelf storefronts and structural interior walls designed to double as storage spaces.
Transient Space.
These images contradict the sort of style and atmosphere Lucy expresses due to its high modernity of materials and design opposed to the rustic, classic feeling you get when you see the items that Lucy collects.
However the idea is what I was interested in. The large mass can be moved around from location to lcation and open up to create an open space.
The image on the right really interested me due to the fact that it looks like its at some sort of docking station.
I don't think rail way would be the best for Lucy however, it would be interesting to see if you could design a docking station that would accomadate the vehicle and also a stage or platform for the bibliotherapy.
The car in this image I believe takes the books too literally, doesn't look very practical and not much space at all to carry equipment or tools.
Temporary Space.
When I thought of a temporary space I initially thought about installation artists such as Rachel Whitreads work and installations. The one that interested me the most that I thought would tie in with my research is Whitread's installation called Emabnkment at the Tate modern.
These plaster casts are all negative casted from negative objects in this case a box. The card board box was a simple object that was made into a huge installation space. I think the media of books that Lucy work's within would work well with this.
Perhaps even emptying or hollowing these casts of boxes would be a good installation space and also good for storing her possesions, it could be also integrated to become a viewing platform for her work.
