Interactive spaces and Designs.

Nature and activity.

This is Ecological Children Activity and Learning Center which will provide visiting children a wide range of entertaining activities as well as raise the level of ecological awareness with them, located in Koh Kood Island, Thailand was designed by 24H architecture.

The reason why I have chosen to look at buildings and designs of spaces such as these because of the fact that they have been made for practical purposes instead of just based on aesthetics.

The fact that you have to interact with the space to actually know why it was built is essential due to me wanting to create a design in which people will interact with Lucy's work as an exhibit.

This is a very natural ecological build where as I believe a more clinical approach to my design would be better however the natural elements of this build makes you feel very warm and welcoming.
Clinical and Minimal.

Here is Otake House, a contemporary house design located in Otake city, Hiroshima, Japan, West of Hiroshima prefecture, on a high plateau that neighbors the Kamei Park of the Kamei Castle Ruins. The Otake house was designed by Suppose Design Office, designed with accent modern and luxury mountain house design.

By covering the entire building with water proof material used in ship construction we made a unique and detailed building that doesn’t require sealants or tiling. Furthermore, because the glossy, water proof material wraps around the building inside and out uninterrupted, a nature-like space is created where you can take in the outside scenery and the building and surroundings seem to blend together. By considering views about execution from the planning stage on, we discovered water proof materials previously unknown to us. In much the same way that an object will look different when seen from different angles, by looking at one project from the different view points of planning, structure, and execution we think we were able to move in a better direction

The reason why I have chosen to upload these photos of this specific building is because I like how the outside enviroment seems to be pertruding its way into the home through these square and rectangular windows.
The very minimal look seems to contrast the very busy but yet natural enviroment in which it inhabits.

Complete Interaction.

For the expo02 in Biel, Switzerland, meso designed and implemented the media design for an electronic SwissBadi commissioned by 3deluxe architects. (expo.02.ch, www.3deluxe.de, www.cyberhelvetia.ch)
The result was a media environment playing with the topics of communication and community, depicted in the metaphor of flowing liquid and aquatic beings. Dozens of visitors can simultaneously interact with this environment, a situation that's simultaneously confusing and relaxing, meditative and explorative - an approach to what could be called "irritainment"
